About me

Hi, My name is Annie.

I am taking part in the Nepal House Build Challenge 2008 with my friend Rebecca to help raise money for ActionAid's work. The project in Nepal aims to help the Kamiya people to re-build their lives after being freed from slavery and thrown off the land they onced worked and lived on.

ActionAid helps by putting these people in a postion to be able to improve their own prospects by educating them on their rights to land ownership and by providing building materials, expertise and assistance to enable them to build their own homes!

Whilest in Nepal i could doing anything from helping to dig foundations, clear land, lay bricks or fit door frames and windows! It will be very hands on and a lot of hard work but I am really looking forward to the challenge!
