A big well done to all our 37 runners who completed the Flora London Marathon 2008 on Sunday 13th April. Despite the rain everyone made great time. It was fantastic to see so many of you at the reception with your family and friends.
A special mention to Liam, Alex, James and Maire from SSFC who completed the Mini-Marathon for ActionAid and our Convict Team who broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest chained team in 3 hours 38 minutes and 27 seconds!

London Marathon 2008 - Guinness World Record Broken in 3 hours, 38 mins & 27 seconds!
My Message
We did it!!!
We broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest chained team to complete the London Marathon with a time of 3 hours 38 mins and 27 seconds!
Eoghan, Clive, Nathan, Jamie, James (Geoff), Adam & Oli are all dressing up in full convict gear, chaining themselves together (as you do) and running the London Marathon 2008.
We have registered with Guinness World Records to see if we can break the fastest chained marathon record of 3 hours 40 minutes and 16 seconds (a record set by two people in 1998). This is a huge ask (and the odds aren't on our side) but we're going to go for it and see how close we can come! We love underdogs! (especially when they're us).
The reason for this ridiculousness is to raise as much money as possible for ActionAid. Please ask any of us for info on how the money will be used.
We hugely appreciate any and all support you are able to give.
