My Message

Hello People,

We're Ed, Stu, Henry, and Dan and somehow over a beer or two we talked each other into running the Reading Half Marathon because we thought it would be fun... well it's just a gentle stroll in the park isn't it?!!

Anyway to make it properly worthwhile we're running it for ActionAid which as some of you may (or may not!) know is the charity that Ed works for and the charity that has given Henry and Dan many enjoyable years at Reading festival!

Apart from giving Ed a living and Henry and Dan a good time they also work with poor people in Africa, Asia and Latin America to help people gain their right to healthcare, education, clean water and food. Now Ed is very biased, but we all agree that ActionAid is a very worthwhile organisation that runs very good long term projects that actually work with the people affected. We don't think you can argue with that!

What we need you to do is sponsor us... prefereably lots of money but really anything you can spare. In return we promise to complete 13 gruelling miles and if you're really lucky we'll show you our blisters and chaffed nipples at the end.

Over the next few weeks we'll post photos of us in training just so you can have a good laugh and watch Ed's belly wobble as he runs.

Please give generously.... we'll probably never do this again!

Cheers ears!

Ed, Stu, Hen and Dan. xx
