Back training

OK I am nearly right after about a month of illness - most of which was spent on holiday.  Bad chests are not too bad - they just make me tired.  We were able to enjoy ourselves in a very sedate way. 

Bets thing was scone and jam and clotted cream.  Guess where we went.

We are back now and I have resumed training.  My back is slowly improving with the good advice from Lynne and Pete the phsios.  Crikey I have learned more about the muscles that really matter than a little. 

Core stability is really important - not to mention the flexibility you get when stretching - which is vital at my age.

I am looking at about 15 miles this week over three days.  I am filling in with cross training.  I think I did not do enough of this at all ahead of the 2008 run.

I did 4.5 miles on my treadmill today - on a hill programme - just jogging at up to 5 mph and 0 to 5% slopes.  I still was tired and had a short sleep this afternoon.
