Hit by a bug

Well we were over looking after our little Grandchild this last week - which was lovely since he is a wonderful little boy.
I managed to pick up a tummy bug which has put me off takeaway curries for all time. Please don't mention curry to me any more. You know that debate you have with yourself in the night? Shall I get up and be sick or stay here lying down and hoping nothing bad happens. Our daughter Mary kindly drove us back from Royston with me feeling like death. Pat was whacked out as well.
I shut down training from last Friday and have just restarted today in doing a gentle 7.5 mile long slow run. This went very well thank you.
I felt so sorry for Paula in utter pain finishing the Olympic marathon. She is very brave but oh I cringed at her obvious pain.
