John's 2008 London Marathon
Part of Flora London Marathon 2008
A big well done to all our 37 runners who completed the Flora London Marathon 2008 on Sunday 13th April. Despite the rain everyone made great time. It was fantastic to see so many of you at the reception with your family and friends.
A special mention to Liam, Alex, James and Maire from SSFC who completed the Mini-Marathon for ActionAid and our Convict Team who broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest chained team in 3 hours 38 minutes and 27 seconds!

I will be running the London Marathon April 13 2008 God willing. This would be the fourth time and I will be just 63. Again I will be running for a very important charity - ActionAid
My Message
Hey guys, ActionAid is a terrific charity which deals with the causes of extreme poverty and human suffering. This gives people the ability to look after themselves given education or medication or housing etc. I am so proud to be able to raise money for them and I invite you to sponsor me for as much as you can afford.
