One week to the Liverpool Half Marathon

22 Feb 2008

Mary and I are planning to run the Liverpool Half Marathon a week on Sunday.  I think I will try it at marathon pace - i.e. 11 minute miles  =  2 hours 23  = 4 46 for the full marathon and a pb ( I wish).  This would be a dress rehearsal.

Last night I did four 3% hills at 10k pace ( 6.6 mph)  I am working hard at pilates for core stability.   My back is quite a bit better.  12 miles tommorow on the long slow run and an easy 22 mile week.  28 miles next week planned.

I am working hard at a a staged big fundraising push at our company conference March 6 and am talking to our good friends at Actionaid - Jennifer and Helen about what I would like to say.
