On the 17th October 2006 Vicky Buchanan was killed whilst cycling to Stamford Bride where she worked for Chelsea. Vicky was my closest cousin. She was 28 when she died and was due to get married the following year.

Her death was a huge shock to the family and she is deeply missed. In her memory a charity has been set up called Vickys Water project. This charity through Action Aid has helped bring clean fresh water to thousands of people in Africa.

I ran the Great North Run in Newcastle in Sept 07. It was the first time I had taken up running and after enjoying it so much I have now decided to run the London Marathon for ActionAid in her memory.

I need to raise £1,700. Every penny counts, and your generoristy means more lives in Africa will be changed forever simply by providing fresh clean drinking water.

So please sponor me as much as you can.
