Mission Malawi is a 500 Km cycle though Malawi and Mozambique to raise money for the work Action Aid do.
My Message
Destination - Malawi/Mozambique Africa... Date - 09/05/2010... Distance - 500 Km's (A flamin long way!)... Means - By Bike!... Probable Outcome - A Very sore Bum!!!
That is a brief outline of what I am planning to do... A work collegue (Emmsy) suggested taking some time out from the normal humdrum of everyday life and doing something different... So after a little searching and thinking about what would be really worth while and possibly life changing we fell upon Action Aids charity work in Africa... Schools for Children, local services for villages, and help for people living with Aids and HIV... What with my enthusiasm for cycling this seemed a good mix!!
I am searching to raise £3200 for this trip, and ask for any help that is at all possbile from you... 1 man cannot change the world but 1 man with a team behind him can maybe make a dent... Speaking to People that have been to Malawi have all said how wonderful the people are and deserve any help that is possbile... I will be visiting many sites that action aid have set up along my trip and will be taking thousands of photos to show everyone where there help is going.
So please give what you can and be part of my team :o)
