Fundraising update and some good news!

Thank you to everyone who has already sponsored me for this trek to Everest Base Camp in April 2009.

The level of support you have shown is somewhat overwhelming, especially considering how much many of you have already supported me with my previous endeavours to different parts of the World!

To get that £105 donation last night from my Aunty and Uncle was astounding. Putting that 1 donation into context - ActionAid could run a medical unit for 5 days, treating over 1000 people in Gujurat with just that 1 donation!!! How amazing is that?!

Some further good news to add is that I am now in a position to be able to apply for an RBS Community Cashback Award. As an employee of the bank, they'll support my fundraising efforts with a further donation to ActionAid of £500, which is truly fantastic!

The money raised through this trek will make a difference, and I thank you all immensely for your continued support.
