Hi

I'm Brendan, thanks for taking time to visit my fundraising page, I am currently living in Manchester and work in the Adidas Original store in the Triangle.

I spend most of my free time, running, training and racing. Other interests include photography, traveling and outdoor pursuits.

I had always wanted to link my running/training in with charity work and doing something positive but was always unsure what. After seeing the Mission Malawi 3 website online I knew this was the challenge.

In May 2008 a group of us will be flying to Malawi for Action Aid, to complete in 400km cycle,100km hike, across Malawi and Mozambique, we will also be kayaking across lake Malawi. My fundraising will go towards the teams total, where we are hoping to exceed last years total of £127,000.

We will also be visiting orphanages and project villages en route.

Looking at the pictures and success of Mission Malawi 1&2, I am extremely excited about being part of Mission Malawi 3. It will be a tough challenge both physically and emotionally, but the training and hard work will be extremely rewarding.

To raise more interest and importantly more money I have set my self a personal goal, I will be running a marathon in March/April a month before I go to Malawi.
