emergenies- Natural disasters like floods, droughts and earthquakes destroy the lives of more than 300 million people every year. Man-made crises like violent conflict affect many millions more.

food rights- Everyone has the right to be free from hunger, and this right is perhaps the most fundamental of all. Without food, no one can have life or health.

hiv and aids- AIDS causes the deaths of approximately 8,200 people every single day, the majority of them in poor countries
