One of the key activities of our youth club involves raising money to help children in Ghana to be able to go to school and get a good education, and also to have access to clean, safe water. This is an ongoing project which we hope to be involved in for many years and we are kicking off our fundraising at the Adidas London Mini-Marathon, the event for young athletes which is run over the last part of the London Marathon course before the main race on Sunday, April 13th. Our team of four young athletes are hoping to raise at least £2,000 for children in Ghana which will form the foundation of our fund-raising programme, with many more events to follow.
