Last day in Cambodia

Well we survived the week and what a week it was!  Truly amazing, tiring and humbling.  Sorry not to have posted any further blogs but at the end of a hot trining day the cold beer won out over the walk to the internet cafe.  We have shifted several hundredweight of sand, earth & gravel.  Built & rendered walls and yes we have genuinly made a difference to the centre and it's progress.  They hope to have it finished in 2 to 3 weeks.  We would all have liked to stay to finish the work we were doing but we have left it in good shape and there is much enthusiasm amongst the locals to see the end result.

We had a very moving ceremony and were each given a gift of a scarf.  We left gifts of a whteboard and rugs.  All building gear, hats, boots, gloves etc have been left behind for the workers to make use of.

Thsi is an experience I will never forget.
