London Marathon
Part of Flora London Marathon 2008
A big well done to all our 37 runners who completed the Flora London Marathon 2008 on Sunday 13th April. Despite the rain everyone made great time. It was fantastic to see so many of you at the reception with your family and friends.
A special mention to Liam, Alex, James and Maire from SSFC who completed the Mini-Marathon for ActionAid and our Convict Team who broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest chained team in 3 hours 38 minutes and 27 seconds!

My Message
Hi friends, I have decided to run the London marathon on 13 April 2008 and to raise £1,700 for ActionAid. ActionAids priorities are: HIV/ Aids, food rights, women's rights, democratic governance, and emergencies. That's a lot of hard work... much harder than running 26 odd miles... and much much harder than getting your bank details out and making a small donation!
