Barney's Sponsored Walk
Part of First Hand Experiences Cambodia 2008
Despite being such a small group the team have achieved a huge amount, raising over £3100 in sponsorship each for ActionAid’s priority fund and digging foundations, lifting bricks and mixing cement to make real and lasting difference.
The team was fantastic and worked really hard on site putting their arm muscles to the test! Throughout the week there was a great sense of camaraderie and everyone got to know each other and the locals they were working with really well, learning from each other and making new friends.

My fantastic friends of the 2 and 4 legged variety will be joining Barney and I for a sponsored walk on Sunday 7th September in Sutton Park.
Meeting at Blackroot car park, we're then tackling a 5 mile walk, and then enjoying some well deserved coffee and cookies at the fantastic Blackroot Bistro.
