About me

Hi, my name is John Sanderson, I'm 26 and on the 13th of April 2008 I will be running the Flora London Marathon in aid of Actionaid. It will be my first Marathon EVER and I am seeking to raise £1700.
Why Actionaid? On Rugby Tour in South Africa in 2006 I visited an Orphanage in Johanesberg for mentally handicaped children and orphans with AIDS. It was a deeply moving and motivating experience, and as a result I passionate about make a difference by giving something back to such and similar projects through action aid.
Why the Marathon? I have never done one before and I was inspired by watching friends completing the challenge last year.
