Mission Malawi III
Part of Mission Malawi 3
16 motivated, committed and very energetic supporters took on Mission Malawi 3 in May 2008. They cycled along streets lined with smiling children, they trekked through the bush and they visited ActionAid's HIV/AIDS work and met the people whose lives they are transforming. This is the third Mission Malawi challenge and between the three challenges, they have raised an incredible £250,000 for ActionAid's HIV & AIDS work in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
For information on how you can get involved in the next challenge in 2010 email us.

My Message
Thanks for coming to donate on my page.
More than 40 people have taken part in the 2 expeditions so far, and they have raised a staggering £175,000 along the way - money which is being well-spent in ActionAid's HIV projects, specifically in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
The first expedition, in March 2004 saw 10 Manchester-based cyclists making their journey from Lilongwe to Mzuzu, in the north of Malawi. That expedition raised over £40,000. Following on from the success of the first trip, Mission Malawi 2 saw 34 people cycling, hiking and kayaking their way through southern Malawi in March 2006 - an event which raised over £130,000.
In May 2008, we'll be cycling over 400km and walking through one of Malawi's national parks, visiting orphanages and care centres en route.
Please dig deep and donate anything you can afford. This money will help some of the many hundreds of thousands of people in Africa who are struggling to cope with the day to day effects of HIV/AIDS.
