Running in Paris

My first pre-work morning run in another town. Running makes me realise how relatively small Paris is. Out of the hotel up a hill and suddenly I am on Pigalle, which is deserted. Run from one end to the other as there's a nice tree-covered bit in the middle. Run back down the hill and discover that apparently I have covered about 700m in total. Run around Paris rather aimlessly for a while and arrive back at the hotel 45 minutes after leaving, having done just over a mile according to my pedometer.

The worrying thing is, it could well be true.
