About me

On the 30th September, I’m going to be running the Great North Run in memory of my cousin Victoria Buchanan.

On 17th October 2006, Vicky was tragically killed by a lorry whilst cycling to Stamford Bridge where she worked for Chelsea Pitch Owners.

Vicky and I spent some memorable times together over her lifetime, especially on Christmas Days and watching England play rugby at Twickenham.

Just a month before her death, the whole family had been together for a beautiful day celebrating my other cousins wedding. I spent the majority of the day with her, drinking wine, dancing and playing table tennis!

I, along with 200 of Vicky's friends and other family will be running the Great North Run in the hope we can raise £226,000 to bring clean running water to 20,000 people in and around Lera Town in Ethiopia.

I hope you can sponsor me and, in doing so, help change the lives of these people forever and give Vicky a remarkable legacy.
